With the spreadsheet, you input the data from a previous database. This way, the computer has direct access to the information. And, if an individual contacts you, all you need to do is type in their name or account number, and all the database information regarding their account comes up onto the screen. This allows you to view not only what they have ordered previously, but their billing status, how they paid, where they are located, and just about any other bit of information you may need to better service the individual. It does take some time to input the information into the spreadsheets, but once complete, your business will run much smoother.
