Success for KNAPP and LOGIM together – New customers in Bulgaria, Estonia, Panama and the UK
 
Dortmund (Germany) and Wundschuh bei Graz (Austria), August 2007. The KNAPP Logistics Group, worldwide leader in logistics technologies, offers now an optimized solution for commercial, pharmaceutical and third-party logistics with the LOGIM WMS (Warehouse Management System) incl. the Pick-by-Voice system. In addition to innovative projects in Germany and Austria, LOGIM's core markets, the company was able to win new international customers in Bulgaria, Estonia, Panama and the UK.
 
The KNAPP Holding took over all shares of LOGIM Software GmbH in April 2006. The goal was to establish the tried and tested LOGIM WMS outside the core markets Germany and Austria in the 22 countries with KNAPP sales and service offices as well.
 

The volume of incoming orders for the KNAPP Group increased by 10% in the first two quarters of 2007 compared to last year. The result were over one hundred new jobs in the entire group for the current business year, ten of which at the headquarters of LOGIM in Wundschuh (Austria). KNAPP and LOGIM cooperate with the most important schools and universities and pay special attention to the qualification and personality of the candidates in recruiting, so as to identify the most suitable employees to enlarge their personnel and further strengthen their leading market position.

The LOGIM WMS already has over 3,000 users in 15 different countries and the Pick-by-Voice solution was awarded an innovation prize this year.

KNAPP and LOGIM customers also benefit from the investment security thanks to the continual and market-oriented further development of the software solutions. More than 10,000 man hours are invested in the development of the standard functions this year.
