KNAPP, a worldwide leading provider of logistic technology, has implemented the innovative KiSoft electronic pick list at PLUS and Zielpunkt in Vienna.

Dortmund (D) and Wundschuh bei Graz (A), December 2007: The KiSoft Warehouse Management System (WMS) already manages over 12 distribution centres for PLUS in Germany, Rumania, Greece, Czech Republic, Hungary, and now in Vienna.

The KiSoft WMS was implemented within a few days at the distribution centre in Vienna and successfully replaced the existing Pick-by-Voice system. The KiSoft electronic pick list was developed in close collaboration between PLUS und KNAPP and has proved its worth in over 1.000 commercial logistic installations.

PLUS reaches higher performance and quality values with the electronic pick list than with comparable technologies, for example, Pick-by-Voice. The user guidance frees the hands and leads with clearly arranged schedules for increased performance.

PLUS belongs to the Tengelmann international group of companies and is represented in Europe by more than 4.000 branch stores and around 42.300 employees.

KNAPP develops Best-of-Class Software solutions in logistics with over 400 software engineers, and offers optimal service for its customers with 1.300 employees worldwide. Through years of experience in logistics in combination with innovative software architecture, with the KiSoft Warehouse Management System including Pick-by-Voice, the customer profits from proven Best-Practice processes (over 4.000 users in 15 countries) and short implementation times, thanks to the extensive and simply configured standard functions (1.000+ features).
